Our poor physical bodies are bombarded by factors that tire them and age them, making them slowly weaken and wear out. But our true hope lies within.
“While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18) WHERE we look keeps us young. Our “inward man” is renewed, not only by seeing our trials as temporary, but also by intentionally focusing on the invisible and eternal.
Do I do this? Do I train myself to see the value in the unseen and everlasting? Do I focus on God, Scripture, love, and the human soul…all eternal truths? Do you?
