Clean! Fresh! New! Wouldn’t it be great to have a clean, fresh, new start? Having my most valuable part ready for anything?
The Bible says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God…” (Psalm 51:10a) After the psalmist David encountered an ugly event in his own life, he craved a way to go back and wipe the slate clean. And that way? That’s God! He IS the way, and He HAS the skills.
We can ask our Creator to create in us a brand new heart, ready to pursue Him with a fresh attitude and outlook.
