And what about God? What is His opinion about our lives, about our potential for change and growth?
“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies,” says the Lord GOD: “wherefore turn, and live.” (Ezekiel 18:32) God really is for us! He knows that growth is good for us. He sees the big picture and realizes how much we will benefit from being new, having a new heart, having a new spirit.
He begs us to “turn and live.” He does this because He is cheering for us to find hope for a vibrant future.
Let’s cast away the old. Let’s embrace a new heart and a new spirit. Let’s live!
