The final “new” of 2022 is found in the hope for our future. That future is not only 2023, but also our eternity with God.
“-lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast” (Hebrews 6:18,19) In context, this hope is the sure guarantee of salvation through our Savior. As we head into a new year, new challenges can be met with confidence because God is already there. God Himself is our hope. And the salvation He offers through His Son secures our future.
Our exploration of “new” for 2022 is finished. Let’s enter 2023 secure in the hope that is God.
