Although the way of salvation in the Old Testament appears to be rife with requirements for good works, in truth those systems were merely types and pictures of a permanent, simple way pf salvation.
“And you shall bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS: FOR He shall save His people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) That way? It was not a litany of deeds, but rather a Person, the Son of God, Savior of the world. Through a relationship with Jesus, sins are erased, atoned, paid in full.
As we approach the celebration of Christ’s incarnation, may we rejoice in our Savior and salvation.
