If I sing a new song to God, do I have to sing it loudly? Well…maybe not always but singing loud may make our praise more honest. How?
“O sing unto the LORD a new song…make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” (Psalm 98: 1,4) I CAN whisper a praise song to God, or even internally shout it from the depths of my soul without making a sound. This reaches God’s ears and brings Him joy.
But when we sing with a loud voice, we’re forced to be more honest with God as our words are also reaching the ears of our family members in Christ.
So, whether we whisper a song, think it in our heart, or bolt it out in a congregation, we have a unique opportunity to sing God a new song.
