My spirit? It’s that inner, valuable facet of my being. But even that precious part of my life needs a jumpstart every now and then.
And how does God do this? Through an honest prayer: “…O God: renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10b) Being transparent and open with God is a great place to begin afresh in our spirits. Renewed, refreshed, and nourished: my spirit has this regular opportunity to be wiped clean, ready for a new adventure with God.
